Laura Long Laura Long has been a trustee of the Flathead County Library System since 2003. She also served seven years as a member of the FCLS Foundation, as Treasurer and later as the Library Board representative. Ms. Long has participated on a number of other nonprofit boards in the past ten years, including the American Association of University Women, where she held several offices in the local branch and served as Vice President of Finance at the national level. Currently, Ms. Long holds the position of Treasurer and member of the Executive Committee for Angel Flight West, a nonprofit organization that provides private air transportation for individuals with medical or other compelling human needs throughout the 13 western states. Prior to her work in the nonprofit world, Ms. Long enjoyed a business career in the high-tech industry as the chief financial officer for a number of manufacturing and development operations, and was a member of the founding board of the Central Coast Venture Forum.
