How to register:

Come to any Flathead County Library System branch.

Ask a librarian for the registration form and complete it.

Pick up your reading log when you register. Each child will receive a reading log to record time spent reading or listening to books. DON’T LOSE THE LOG!
Registration is available from June 15-August 19. Children from infancy through 4th grade may register for the Children’s program. Youth entering 6th grade through 12th grade should register for the Teen Program. For example, if you were in 5th grade during the 2008-2009 school year, you should register for the Teen Program.
How to earn prizes:

Use the log to record time spent reading or listening to books. Please round your reading time to the nearest hour and put the total in each week's yellow box.

Five hours spent reading or listening to a book earns a prize. Each participant can earn two prizes (one prize in each session). Session 1 is from June 15-July 18. Session 2 is from July 19-August 22.

Pick up your first prize as soon as you reach 5 hours. Begin reading for your second session prize on July 19 and pick up your second session prize after reading 5 hours.
